Lifes Little Lessons...
It is always funny to me how life hands you its own lessons. When you least expect them, they are smacking you in the forhead. The other night Dani and Wyatt went to feed the dogs at the house that Dani is "house setting" at. Chris and I went home to fix the fan belt on the fire car so he could get to work the next day. When we went to pick up Wyatt to bring him home, Dani comes running out of the garage, "Mom, we have to go to town and get a key from Mrs. Becky's aunt!" of coarse my reply is what is wrong, slow down. Well to make a long story short, she locked her keys in the house, the cellphone in the house and the emergency numbers, yep you guessed it, in the house. However she did have a back up plan, a list of numbers, locked in her car, covered up as to not let anyone see them that would be peeking into her windows. It was a good thing Wyatt was there with his phone - to rescue her from the crisis at hand. They called Grandpa Doug to see if he had a key to his friends house, who then called the aunt of the house owner who had a key. Needless to say lifes lesson number one of being a grown up: 1. You never leave both your keys and your phone in the same place unless they should be in your pocket!

First Day
Hello,
Today Mom and I were talking and thought that maybe just maybe if we too got a family blog then we can stay in touch more with everyone. So we are new users and need time to get the blog up and running good, because just like all of you we have a supper busy life with dad as battalion chief at the Fire Department, and mom and her job and PTSO president at Wyatt's school, me and first semester of college and work, and Wyatt finishing up his eagle in scouting and being a sophomore in high school, but any way got to finish setting up the blog as much as possible before i have to run again. Can't wait till we chat again.
