Its Haunted!!!

Ok so the saga begins, Chris was given permission to order himself a new work truck when the budget was approved in July. They ran down to the local "Tarheel Chevy" Dealership and ordered a 09 Chevy Silverado, extended cab. Great, its on its way!

NOPE! It was on back order for 3-4 months, by the way has now been upgraded to a 2101 since it took so long... When it finally came in, it sat at the dealership for 3 weeks waiting for the billing to get straightened out, and for the wench, push bar and bed liner to get sprayed in it. The wench is on back order, so last Wednesday that took it down to Durham to have the lights and sirens put on it and the guy who does the lettering came down there and did his thing too. They reported back to the fire chief that the truck was haunted... they put everything on the truck, put it all back together and one of the strobes in the tail lights blew out, fixed it, only to turn them on again and the light bar wouldn't work except one LED that was working on its own. Took it back apart, found that the brand new strobe motor was bad, had to replace it. We then took it back to Tarheel to have the wench that finally came in on it and have the rims replace with chrome, they said the wench that was sent was for a 4 wheeler and would not fit and the first three tires went on great, the forth one was bent. The truck is still setting at RFD Station 1 unfinished. But looks great just the same! Maybe you will have your truck for the new Year Chris....

Getting MARRIED!!!!!!!!!

O yes, did u know that I am getting MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just kidding, my grandma back in NC was at the Dr. which is also are family Dr. as well and they were chatting and all, when he told her that he had hear that I was getting married and then asked her if this was true. She quickly replied, NOT that I know of. Well after leaving the Dr. she went home and got on facebook and saw that I was online and asked me the same question. I told her no, and she said you would tell me when you do right? I told her yes and then said I would hope someone would tell me first. anyway It is all a big rumor that got started back home which is really funny because that town is a rumor starting town and what everyone has to always be in everyone’s life and not in a good way. But I found it funny that it still goes on even after u move away.

sO It hAs bEEn jUst A lIttlE whILE sIncE lAst chAtIng.

So to caught everyone up on everything that is going on in the 2 state that are family now is living in. most of you all now, but for the rest of you Dani is living in Utah with her grandparents and has been since June. She is working with her grandpa, and it is quite different from her prior job that she was working at back in NC. She is getting quite exited for school to start, and the time is coming near, being that she now has a place to stay while weathering out those cold winter nights in Rexburg and she won’t have to live in a cardboard box some where. LOL :) She will soon be getting ready to sign up for her classes as well. As for the family back in North Carolina, they are all doing well, or getting well anyway. Wyatt had the flu last week and in turn gave it to Mom, but from what I hear Wyatt is returning back to school this week, and Mom is going back to work as well. Dad and Brittany have so far stayed clear of it; let’s hope it stays that way too. Let’s see what else has happened in the 5 months we have been away. O, Dad got realest as young men's 1st councilor and is now the elder’s corm president. Since I have been way they have also moved into a new house, and got a new dog, because Gizmo got hit by a car we they were moving one day. I don't know if I will like the new dog when I meet her she is quite the yap yap dog and seams to be quite a delegate dog but we will see. I don't know if I am missing anything else or not, but I promise to blog better. Talk to you all later

WE ARE BACK!!!!!!!!!

So I know it has been a while since we have posted ANYTHING on here,
but we have had a lot going on here in NC. Since the last post we have
had Mom has been bring her year as PTSO president to a end, and also
working like crazy. Dad is also really busy with the Fire Department
and young men. Wyatt is looking forward to his 16th birthday this
Sunday, So he can start driving, he has been working on the jeep
looking forward to this day. He to is busy as he gets ready to end the
school year and taking his EOC exams. Me well I am busy as ever finished
most of my classes for this semester have anatomy and physiology
still, so I am studying like crazy. And busy packing in my free time
between school church and work.

WHAT IS NEW:
We started foster care again after a year off, and we now have the
youngest kid we have ever had. She is 10 years old; from here in
Roxboro, and it is crazy having someone that young and we definitely
have are challeges. It is also new because there is only 4 years
between Wyatt and I which is plenty, however 9 years is way to
much.

But any way that catches you up on us in NC. We will be visiting Kanab

where do we start...busy busy

This has been a busy week! First we had 7 extra people come stay with us, on Tuesday. Then on Thursday 3 more flew in. The Davis Family from SLC came for a visit. We had people from 9 month twin babies to Nanny Margaret! WOW, I didnt think our house could hold so many people. There were bodies everywhere for us to wade through to leave for work and seminary every morning. We had a great time, visited as fast as possible and spoiled the babies.

On Friday we received a call that Samantha was in town for family court. It was fun to take a minute to catch up, and make sure the dynamics are safely entact between the kids. YEP its like she never left. They picked up right where they left off, teasing, arguing and pushing each other off the bed. It was good to see that she is well and adjusting to the adult life. Its hard even to let my foster kids grow up and move away.

Then we arounded off Saturday by watching Wyatt Participate in his first ever shooting competition. There were about 200 kids there from all around the area competing in Shotgun shooting, rifle shooting, orientering and archery. We were really proud of him for his skills. Although it was proven that he would be a better cowboy with the gun, than an indian with the bow and arrow! We teased him all day that with all the pretty girls there that can actually shoot a gun, he might just fall in love! For the record he did walk away with the digits of one girl from Person County.

2 in one week

So here is another post. I know it don't fall in the floor 2 in one week what will we ever do.........
So as you know are last blog was about the weather and this one will be also. So I also ended up with a snow day which worked out great because I needed to work on a paper, but we got 6 inches of snow and for the most part it is gone we still have some in areas, but the grass is back and now it looks like NC again GREEN all over GREEN. Anyway so now this weekend we will be having 70 to 80 degree weather. Which is great, because it is are annual missionary stew Saturday, and it is the best Brunswick stew ever. its great because we all donate the ideas needed for the stew and then we invite people to come to the church and have some and it is FREE. But this is often times the only time we can get them to come into the building. the Best part about it all is I always have to work on this weekend and I don't this year, its great. Anyway just thought I would pop another NC moment by to everyone, talk to y'all later.

Rain for 2 days, Freezing Rain, Sleet, and Snow

So it has been about 12 days since the last blog. And there as been people that has told us that we need to update, and blog more often because there are people that want to know that happens in North Carolina. So the latest, is like the title of the blog said rain for 2 days, freezing rain, sleet, and snow all with in the last 48 hours. MAN North Carolina is has great weather. So right know Wyatt is sitting here grateful that early morning seminary is already canceled and still hoping that his school is canceled and I am hoping that my classes are at least delayed. But anyway we finally have some snow in are forecast and all the milk, eggs, and bread are gone in all the grocery stores in town. I now this sounds funny to you all reading were it snows buckets and buckets and buckets every other day. But that is North Carolinian's and snow for you. However it is nice that we are getting some snow. Giveing me a little practice before I go out to the "really" snow in January. Man I better enjoy these last few snow days I have left, because I have this gut feeling that even though it snow in Idaho you don't get snow days. Darn-it. So past the weather and the crazy North Carolinians and there crazy weather. Wyatt starts work again this weekend, at the race track for the session.

Lucky Sevens

I was tagged by Marisha. I think it is fun to get stuff like this since I live so far away from my "Sisters"(in law), that I really don't know them very well.
Here it goes:

7 things I can do
:
1.Scrapbook, this is my favorite pass time.
2. Accounting, at least I hope so, this is what I get paid to do...
3. Caring for others, I have a hard time not getting over involved.
4. Organization, I love it, everything has its place and it needs to be in it.
5. Pet training, I like to teach my dogs new tricks, it is fun when the show off for others.
6. Problem solving, I like to help others problem solve. (not so good at my own problems though)
7. Anything Crafty, woodworking, ceramics, you name it I love to craft and can loose hours doing it.

7 things I can't do:
1. Be on time, as hard as I try... it seems I am running "just a Touch late"
2. Be around Hospital type settings, I WILL pass out.
3. Make bread in my bread machine, it never turns out!
4. Can't play the guitar... I have one, and have tried, but to no avail...
5. keep caught up on my house work and laundry
6. keep the inside of my car clean, we live in the thing practically.
7. Stay on my diet, I get sick of it and give up.

7 things that attracted me to Chris
1. His eyes!!!
2. He is very considerate, doing little things (flowers, cards, notes etc.)
3. I love that he is my best friend, that we can almost always finish each others sentences.
4. He is a wonderful dad to the kids. He loves to be with them and spend time doing fun things and teaching them.
5. He is devoted to his job. He loves to help people and be "of service"
6. I love that when we are with each other, that time gets lost. We can totally loose track of time and reality when we are with each other, whether its shopping, watching movies, or just hanging around the house. It is really fun.
7. I love that keeping things between us "fresh" is important to him, he is always taking me on special dates, or holding my hand, or kissing me. I love that it is important to him that we don't act like we have been married for 20 years, (old and stale).

7 Things I say most
1. "Did you have a good day?" or "how was your day?"
2. "I love you"
3. Thank you for calling Secure America, this is Wendy, Can I help you?
4. "Troy"....
5. bye
6. Wyatt... Dani... Chris....
7. (I probably don't want to put the rest on here)

6. Navajo Tacos
7. Sausage skillets

7 People I tag:
1. Nicole Holland
2. Staci Wright
3. Eric Hacking
