where do we start...busy busy

This has been a busy week! First we had 7 extra people come stay with us, on Tuesday. Then on Thursday 3 more flew in. The Davis Family from SLC came for a visit. We had people from 9 month twin babies to Nanny Margaret! WOW, I didnt think our house could hold so many people. There were bodies everywhere for us to wade through to leave for work and seminary every morning. We had a great time, visited as fast as possible and spoiled the babies.

On Friday we received a call that Samantha was in town for family court. It was fun to take a minute to catch up, and make sure the dynamics are safely entact between the kids. YEP its like she never left. They picked up right where they left off, teasing, arguing and pushing each other off the bed. It was good to see that she is well and adjusting to the adult life. Its hard even to let my foster kids grow up and move away.

Then we arounded off Saturday by watching Wyatt Participate in his first ever shooting competition. There were about 200 kids there from all around the area competing in Shotgun shooting, rifle shooting, orientering and archery. We were really proud of him for his skills. Although it was proven that he would be a better cowboy with the gun, than an indian with the bow and arrow! We teased him all day that with all the pretty girls there that can actually shoot a gun, he might just fall in love! For the record he did walk away with the digits of one girl from Person County.

2 in one week

So here is another post. I know it don't fall in the floor 2 in one week what will we ever do.........
So as you know are last blog was about the weather and this one will be also. So I also ended up with a snow day which worked out great because I needed to work on a paper, but we got 6 inches of snow and for the most part it is gone we still have some in areas, but the grass is back and now it looks like NC again GREEN all over GREEN. Anyway so now this weekend we will be having 70 to 80 degree weather. Which is great, because it is are annual missionary stew Saturday, and it is the best Brunswick stew ever. its great because we all donate the ideas needed for the stew and then we invite people to come to the church and have some and it is FREE. But this is often times the only time we can get them to come into the building. the Best part about it all is I always have to work on this weekend and I don't this year, its great. Anyway just thought I would pop another NC moment by to everyone, talk to y'all later.

Rain for 2 days, Freezing Rain, Sleet, and Snow

So it has been about 12 days since the last blog. And there as been people that has told us that we need to update, and blog more often because there are people that want to know that happens in North Carolina. So the latest, is like the title of the blog said rain for 2 days, freezing rain, sleet, and snow all with in the last 48 hours. MAN North Carolina is has great weather. So right know Wyatt is sitting here grateful that early morning seminary is already canceled and still hoping that his school is canceled and I am hoping that my classes are at least delayed. But anyway we finally have some snow in are forecast and all the milk, eggs, and bread are gone in all the grocery stores in town. I now this sounds funny to you all reading were it snows buckets and buckets and buckets every other day. But that is North Carolinian's and snow for you. However it is nice that we are getting some snow. Giveing me a little practice before I go out to the "really" snow in January. Man I better enjoy these last few snow days I have left, because I have this gut feeling that even though it snow in Idaho you don't get snow days. Darn-it. So past the weather and the crazy North Carolinians and there crazy weather. Wyatt starts work again this weekend, at the race track for the session.
